About The Position
The Center at Grande is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team. This role involves working closely with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, assisting patients in regaining independence in daily living activities. The COTA will also be responsible for documenting treatments, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and providing encouragement and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current license or be license-eligible in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
- Document treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide encouragement and support to patients and their families.
