Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)-Part Time - LTAC
About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their dynamic therapy team. This is a part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week, specifically for LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) settings. LTAC facilities provide a higher level of care than nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or assisted living facilities, and are designed for medically complex patients who require hospital-level treatment but not intensive care monitoring. Additional hours may also be available in Greenfield. The role involves performing skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current or eligible for state license
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Prefer active membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (not required)
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience
