About The Position

Theracare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. This role will provide skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The position is located in an LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) setting, which provides a higher level of care than nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or assisted living facilities, and is designed for medically complex patients requiring hospital-level treatment but not ICU monitoring. The hours will also cover LTAC in Muncie. The COTA will be part of a dynamic therapy team with easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current or eligible for state license
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Active membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Minimum one (1) year experience
