Requirements

  • Current California COTA license in good standing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and resident-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic treatments under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR)
  • Help residents improve daily living skills, independence, and overall function
  • Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with state practice standards
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff, restorative aides, therapists, and families
  • Support discharge planning through caregiver education and home program instruction
  • Contribute to a strong rehabilitative environment through teamwork and communication
