About The Position
Iva Post Acute is a cozy 60-bed rehab community in Iva, SC, that is part of a larger network of skilled nursing and rehab facilities. They pride themselves on a compassionate, teamwork-oriented, and family-like atmosphere. They are currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their Therapy Team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active, unencumbered South Carolina COTA license
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred
- Passion for helping residents reach their highest level of function and independence
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy treatments to both inpatient and outpatient clients
- Help residents improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence
- Encourage residents throughout their rehab and recovery journey
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation
- Work collaboratively with an amazing interdisciplinary team
- Celebrate resident successes and milestones every day
