About The Position
AES Therapy & Fitness is looking to add a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA to the team. The COTA works in conjunction with our Therapy and Fitness team to help our senior clients maintain and regain fitness and function. Helping our senior clients achieve the highest quality of life possible is one of our primary goals. The COTA works with seniors 1:1 and in some small groups as the primary fitness and function contact on a day to day basis. We are looking for full-time and part-time employees
Requirements
- Current COTA credential in CA
- Must pass FBI & DOJ clearance
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience with geriatric rehab preferred
Responsibilities
- Screening patients
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives
- Administering physical therapy services as directed by a registered occupational therapist
- Conducting patient and family education
- Delivering quality treatment and therapy services
