About The Position

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapist. This position is part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week, and will cover LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) services in Indiana. LTAC facilities provide a higher level of care than nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or assisted living facilities, and are designed for medically complex patients who require hospital-level treatment but no longer need intensive care monitoring.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current or eligible for state license
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Active membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (not required)
  • Minimum one (1) year experience
