About The Position

This is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position with 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and no weekend rotation. The role involves providing therapy services to both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents within a 150-bed skilled nursing facility situated in a rural environment. The COTA will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to enhance patient independence, safety, and overall quality of life.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active COTA license in the practicing state.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established treatment plans.
  • Accurate documentation skills.
  • Effective collaboration skills with interdisciplinary rehab and nursing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS certification.
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
