About The Position

This is a long-term opportunity (up to 366 weeks) for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a 60-bed skilled nursing facility. The facility provides post-hospital short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services. The COTA will collaborate closely with the Occupational Therapist and the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient functional independence and recovery.

Requirements

  • Active COTA license required.
  • BLS certification required per facility standards.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established treatment plans.
  • Proficiency in documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Ability to work weekend rotation as scheduled is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities
