About The Position

The Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant works one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them live safely and productively and complete the daily tasks they want and need to do. The role supports patients and families in adapting home environments, modifying tasks, and using equipment to improve participation in daily activities and quality of life. The position is listed as PRN.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant school with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current CPR certification, a negative TB screen, and Hepatitis consent or declination.
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in an acute care setting.
• Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in their homes when and where they need help.
• Help patients live safely and productively at home and complete desired and necessary daily tasks.
