About The Position

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides patient-centered therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA supports patients in improving functional independence, mobility, and activities of daily living across the continuum of care. Works collaboratively with therapists, nursing, and physicians to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services while promoting safety, engagement, and positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current COTA license in the practicing state required.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate documentation accuracy.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehab team.

Nice To Haves

  • Active BLS certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting such as SNF, inpatient rehab, outpatient, home health, or acute care preferred (new grads may be considered depending on facility).
