About The Position

Cape Cod Hand & Upper Extremity Therapy is an outpatient rehabilitation practice that specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. As Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs), we have the highest levels of certification in the profession for treating the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Our facilities are equipped to offer our patients an excellent opportunity to reach their optimal functional abilities. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
Current state of MA license, CPR certification.
Outgoing and caring personality.

Nice To Haves

One or more year(s) of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
Hand experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
Conduct therapeutic activities according to the occupational therapist's guidance
Monitor patient progress and report it to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Instruct patients and families in following treatment plans and using therapeutic equipment
Help patients improve their cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatments
Modify treatment plans to address patient needs in consultation with an Occupational Therapist
Educate patients and their families on tasks and activities necessary for rehabilitation
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes
