Pleasant Hill Post Acute is seeking an energetic COTA to join our premier In-House therapy team. The role involves helping geriatric residents regain their autonomy by implementing physician-approved plans for activities of daily living (ADLs), maintaining precise records, partnering with nursing staff, training Restorative Aides, educating families on maintenance programs, and helping maintain a safe therapy environment.
Requirements
- A current California Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License.
- A desire to grow within a skilled nursing setting.
- A compassionate professional who builds genuine rapport with residents and their families.

Responsibilities
- Implement physician-approved plans to help patients master the activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Maintain precise records and progress notes in compliance with OT Board and payer standards.
- Partner with nursing staff and train Restorative Aides to ensure a high level of care continuity.
- Educate families on maintenance programs to ensure a safe, successful transition home.
- Help maintain a safe, high-functioning therapy environment focused on patient outcomes.
