About The Position

Under the direction of PACE Nursing Staff, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers personal care and related services to PACE participants in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and in accordance with the plan of care (POC). Participants are primarily served in the clinic or day center, but may also be in settings such as a home, long-term care facility, assisted living facility, or hospital. The position is PRN, as needed.

Requirements

• State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) certification in Kentucky.
• At least one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population, or appropriate training upon hire.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with policy and proof of automobile insurance.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control requirements for healthcare facilities.
• Knowledge of medical equipment use and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma.
• One year of home health aide or nursing assistant experience.
• Experience using technology-based tools, including electronic medical records.

Responsibilities
