About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works in the Birth Place Department within Woman's Services. This unlicensed assistive person helps patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and assists in maintaining a safe environment. The role operates under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. The position is full-time, with day shifts and varying hours, at Dallas Regional Mesquite in Mesquite, Texas.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office is preferred.
Responsibilities
