Certified Nursing Assistant CNA On-Call
About The Position
Moose Lake Village, a Cassia senior community, is hiring on-call Certified Nursing Assistants to help residents maintain independence through personal care, daily activities, and treatments. CNAs document care, support prescribed activity programs, and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the RN or supervisor. Requirements
- Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification in good standing on the registry.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Help residents reach and maintain the highest possible level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse according to the individualized care plan.
- Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed; report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Document services performed using a computerized charting system.
- Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
- Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reaction, or appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
