About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in its senior living community in Norwalk, Connecticut. The position is part-time, scheduled from 3 PM to 11 PM, in the Resident Care department. The role involves assisting residents with daily care, engaging them in conversation and activities, collaborating with the nursing team, and helping maintain a clean, safe environment. Requirements

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
• Engage residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Help maintain resident rooms.
