About The Position
The Hospice Aide (CNA) provides personal care services to hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Compassion, discretion, and reliability are essential in this role.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification
- At least one year of experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Empathy, patience, and respect for patient dignity
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Helps maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supports emotional well-being.
- Observes and reports changes in the patient's condition.
