About The Position

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Casual CNA on our Med/Surg unit, where you will play an important role in supporting patients with compassionate, hands-on care. In this position, you will work closely with nurses and other team members to help patients with comfort, mobility, nutrition, and safety in a collaborative rural hospital environment. Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant certification required
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification required
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize work and follow unit guidelines
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of previous CNA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic care needs related to nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility, and safety
• Transport and transfer patients safely using appropriate equipment and precautions
• Assist nursing staff with lifting and ambulating patients using approved practice guidelines
• Maintain equipment and the care environment, including transporting bodies to the morgue when needed
• Communicate and document accurate information with the health care team
