About The Position
Salinas Valley Post-Acute is seeking dependable, resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistants to join its clinical team at a skilled nursing facility in Salinas, California. This part-time role offers AM and NOC shift availability and compensation of $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. CNAs provide compassionate, person-centered care that supports residents’ dignity, independence, and well-being.
Requirements
- Active California CNA certification.
- Strong attendance record and dependable, team-oriented work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Must pass a background check and meet state-mandated health screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Record vital signs and other clinical measurements accurately and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing leadership.
- Assist with meal service, hydration, and residents’ general comfort needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment and follow infection control and facility protocols.
- Provide respectful, person-centered care that preserves each resident’s dignity and rights.
