Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Part Time
About The Position
Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to provide daily care in a 5-Star Medicare-rated skilled nursing and post-acute care facility. The facility is described as a 200-bed center. Experienced and newly certified CNAs are welcome, with training, mentorship, and support provided. The role focuses on high-quality resident care that promotes dignity, comfort, independence, and recovery. The position is part-time. The posting lists pay as starting at $21–$23 based on experience and also states starting pay of $22.66+ per hour, with opportunities for wage growth based on experience. Requirements
- Current, active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or healthcare experience is welcome but not required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; training and mentorship are provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality daily care while promoting each resident’s dignity, comfort, and independence.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals.
- Follow individualized care plans and perform assigned nursing procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support residents’ care goals and recovery.
