Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private duty health care industry for over 25 years and focuses on delivering patient care and improving health outcomes in the community. CNAs work with one patient for the complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. They assist with daily living activities, comfort, and overall well-being to enhance the patient’s quality of life. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on various weekdays and weekends. Pay is $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Auto insurance card.
- Current CPR card.
- CNA state certification.
- TB test results: two-step test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months, or QuantiFERON Gold blood work within the last five years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring as needed to support mobility.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Enhance patients’ quality of life and build relationships through conversation and shared activities, finding stimulation to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
- Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
