About The Position
Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide 12-hour shift coverage for clients throughout Fort Worth, TX. This position is ideal for CNAs seeking stable schedules while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults who wish to remain safely in their own homes. We offer day and overnight 12-hour shifts, with full-time and part-time opportunities and flexible scheduling based on client needs. At Comfort Keepers, caregiving is more than a job—it's a calling. Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification required
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout Fort Worth and surrounding Tarrant County
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality care
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client safety
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of caregiving or CNA experience preferred
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with chronic conditions is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
- Safely assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Monitor client condition and report changes to the care team
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
- Provide medication reminders
- Follow each client's individualized Plan of Care while maintaining accurate communication with the office
