About The Position

We are hiring experienced, compassionate CNAs for Saturday and Sunday home-care shifts in Fairfax and McLean. The role is intended for people seeking consistent weekend hours and supplemental income while helping seniors with daily activities. The agency focuses on dementia care and offers career-growth opportunities, challenging cases, and a rewards and recognition program. Candidates must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday. Memory Care experience is preferred.

Requirements

At least two years of CNA experience, including at least one year in a Memory Care Unit.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including CDC guidance related to COVID-19.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful and compassionate demeanor with good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday.

Nice To Haves

Memory Care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage clients in activities that stimulate the mind and spirit.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outdoors.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Complete shopping or accompany clients when needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete themselves, including meal preparation.
Collect information about clients’ conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members.
Report unusual incidents to nurses, doctors, and family members.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets.
