About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistant CNA at St. Dominic Villa - FT & PT Available. St. Dominic Villa provides exceptional long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services for older adults. Our community offers a welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. This position is designed for team members who are available to work Friday through Sunday. We are currently advertising 8- or 16-hour shift options, and the specific schedule can be discussed during the interview to find the best fit for both you and our team. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs person centered personal cares for the resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Be current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (for MAA role).
- Documentation of successful completion of a Pharmacology course (for MAA role).
- Documentation of a completed clinical course that includes a medication pass rotation (for MAA role).
- Active CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Current CPR certification.
