About The Position

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate care to assigned hospice patients under the direction of the nursing leadership team. Care is delivered in accordance with patient assessments and individualized care plans. The CNA collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The role follows company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the state or states of practice.
• Compassionate and committed to improving patients’ quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while supported by a dedicated care team.
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications, education, and career growth opportunities.
