About The Position

Royal Crown Homes LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time, on-call float role serving its respite home in Lakeville and residential assisted living homes in Burnsville, Minnesota. The role provides direct resident care in a warm, home-like environment and supports residents’ dignity, comfort, safety, and emotional well-being.

Requirements

Hold an active CNA certification in the state of Minnesota.
Have a strong understanding of patient care, safety protocols, and infection control.
Be able to assist with transfers and physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Have excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate a compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude.
Be reliable and punctual, and be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends or evenings.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a residential care, assisted living, or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Manage colostomy bags.
Provide tube feeding via G-tube.
Use lifts or Hoyer lifts.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and changes in residents’ conditions.
Support residents during meals, including feeding assistance as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Communicate with nursing staff and the care team about resident needs and changes.
Build relationships with residents and families to promote dignity and emotional well-being.
