About The Position
The Nurse Aid in the Birth Place Department is an unlicensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living. The role provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. The position is full-time, with day shifts and varying hours, at Dallas Regional Mesquite in Mesquite, Texas.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office.
