CNA- SCU (Full-Time, Days)
About The Position
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant may provide patient care and perform selected nursing procedures defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy. The role supports nurses by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed, and collaborates with other patient-care team members to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. This is a full-time, day-shift position in the Surgical Care Magnolia unit, with 12-hour shifts, variable days off, and 72 hours per pay period. Compensation ranges from $23.09 to $29.56 per hour, based on applicable experience.
Requirements
- Current certification with the California Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity toward hospitalized patients and their families.
- Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
