About The Position
Luther Park Community, a non-profit organization established in 1914, provides comprehensive services for mature Iowans in Des Moines, focusing on their physical, spiritual, social, and psychological needs. We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Trinity Center, a 120-bed Health Center specializing in Alzheimer's care. The position involves working the 2p - 6a shift, every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with a variety of individuals.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
- Satisfactory completion of the 75-hour nursing assistant course.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
- Valid and current on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
- Current year's flu vaccination.
