About The Position
Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with guidelines and regulations. CNAs work alongside other nursing assistants and nurses in long-term care, rehabilitation, and memory care, helping residents maintain independence in a supportive, nonprofit senior-care community. The role is available full-time or part-time, with day, evening, and night shifts. The wage range is $22.60–$24.96 per hour depending on experience, with shift differentials of $2 per hour for evenings and $3 per hour for nights. Haven Homes is a modern senior community in Maple Plain, Minnesota, and is part of Cassia, a nonprofit senior-care organization. Requirements
- Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
- Ability to work as part of a team and comfortably work independently.
Responsibilities
- Help residents reach and maintain their highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse according to each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed, and report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Document services performed using a computerized charting system.
- Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
- Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reactions, or appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
