About The Position
Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Glenwood of Greenville in Greenville, Illinois. The role provides direct care to residents and assists them with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care. The CNA also maintains proper care records, reports changes in residents’ conditions, and interacts effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public. Requirements
- Hold an active, state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing with the state.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Obtain a Food Handlers Permit if required by state regulations.
- Have previous experience working with the elderly.
- Have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
- Demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member and independently.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
- Be honest, fair, dependable, and respectful of confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
- Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
