Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights position, working 36 hours per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with patient care, including daily living activities, maintaining a safe environment, collecting lab specimens, monitoring intake and output, and documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR). Baptist South serves the growing communities in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties, offering advanced medical care with resort-like amenities to address the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients and their families. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
