About The Position
Apex Home Care Services is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants in Colonia Park, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. CNAs assist patients with daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and help improve patients’ quality of life. Duties may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to advocate for patients. Part-time and full-time availability is offered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Compassionate, respectful, and ethical approach.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience.
- Experience with EMR documentation systems such as PointClickCare or MatrixCare.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Yiddish, Haitian Creole, Bengali, or other commonly spoken languages.
- Availability during the work week and potentially on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
- Provide adjunct patient care.
