About The Position
Bristol Glen, a UMC community in Newton, NJ, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). As a CNA, you will provide hands-on daily care for residents, ensuring their day-to-day life is comfortable and dignified. This role is part of a team dedicated to resident well-being within a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
Requirements
- Active, current New Jersey CNA certification
- At least 18 years old
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Able to receive a flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions considered)
- Every other weekend and a holiday rotation required

- Prior experience in a long-term care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Follow individual resident care plans and document care accurately.
- Make regular rounds to check on residents and respond to their needs.
- Assist residents at mealtimes and with mobility equipment.
- Build real relationships with residents and work alongside the care team.
