About The Position
Come join us at Kahl Home! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 1955. Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities. We are looking for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team.
Requirements
- Current CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Iowa.
- Current CPR Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct Resident care.
- Observe and report residents and notes physical condition, attitude, reactions, or any unusual behavior.
- Ensure that the call light is always within reach of all residents and answer the calls promptly.
- Perform basic nursing skills for Residents.
- Encourage residents in self-help measures in activities of daily living to promote maximum level of independence.
- Participate in Restorative Nursing programs.
- Transport or escort residents to various areas of the Home.
