About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for its Residential Services department in Bethel, Connecticut. The role supports residents with their daily care needs, engages them in conversation and activities, collaborates with the nursing team, and helps maintain safe, clean resident spaces. Requirements

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• Be in good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
• Engage residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and help maintain resident rooms.
