Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Surgical Unit Location: Logan Health Medical Center Department: Surgical Unit Schedule: Full-Time | 3 12-hour shifts per week | Days Bring your compassion and teamwork to a role where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day. At Logan Health, our Surgical Unit team is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients with daily care needs, promote comfort and safety, and assist the care team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
  • Current CPR certification as applicable to assigned area.
  • Must possess an understanding of confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and learn other software systems as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living.
  • Obtain and report vital signs.
  • Document care accurately.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate with nursing leadership and appropriate team members to help coordinate patient care priorities, report changes in condition, and support daily department operations.
  • Assist with restocking supplies, maintaining equipment cleanliness and safety, and supporting a positive patient care experience.
