About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its boutique Long-Term Acute Care facility in Muncie, Indiana, located inside IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. The facility provides high-acuity care to patients who need extended ICU stays, ventilator support, vasopressors, or advanced wound management. CNAs work in a close-knit, specialized clinical environment and assist patients with daily care while supporting the clinical team. The position is available as full-time, part-time, or PRN on night shifts. Compensation includes competitive market pay and shift differentials.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Active Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Be an engaged, self-motivated individual.
• Strong prioritizing abilities.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.

Nice To Haves

• Prior nursing assistant experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while preserving their dignity and self-esteem.
• Care safely and patiently for critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, tracheostomies, arterial lines, and feeding tubes.
• Measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support decision-making by the supervising nurse.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, therapists, and other staff to support positive patient outcomes.
