About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role assists patients with activities of daily living and supports safe, high-quality care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The CNA works alongside nurses, providers, and support staff to support patients throughout their healing journey. This is a PRN position with variable 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and patient observations.
• Promptly report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and ambulation while maintaining patient safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Support nurses and other healthcare team members in delivering quality patient care.
• Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining unit readiness.
• Document care provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
