About The Position
Sandy Health and Rehab is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community serving residents who need long-term and short-term care. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides compassionate care to a geriatric population, supporting residents' daily needs while treating them with dignity and respect. The role involves working with a supportive team and building relationships with residents and their families. The schedule is part-time, overnight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with rotating days and weekends. On-the-job training and mentoring are available as needed.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
- Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Answer call lights and support residents' daily needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
- Monitor residents' comfort, preferences, and dietary needs while supporting them with dignity and respect.
- Document intake and output as needed.
- Promptly report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents and their families.
