Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Telemetry 6W
About The Position
Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support acute rehabilitation patients on Telemetry 6W. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit, the CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care, and helps maintain a safe environment. The position is full-time on the day shift. The stated compensation range is $25.70 to $25.70 per hour. The exact starting compensation is determined during applicant selection based on factors such as skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
- Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital, physician’s office, or skilled nursing facility.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Complete training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.
