About The Position

Hemingford Care Center is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care to residents in its skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Hemingford, Nebraska. The role supports residents receiving long-term and short-term care, including a geriatric population, in a supportive, team-oriented environment. CNAs assist with residents’ daily needs, promote dignity and comfort, communicate changes to nursing staff, and build relationships with residents and their families.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification.
• Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and support residents’ daily needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
• Monitor residents’ comfort, preferences, and dietary needs while treating them with dignity and respect.
• Document intake and output as needed and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Build relationships with residents and their families.
