About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist residents with the self-administration of medications in accordance with physician’s orders and AHCA regulations. This role is crucial for ensuring residents receive their medications safely and accurately within a luxury senior living community.

Requirements

• Must have a Florida Certified Nursing Assistant certificate for at least 2 years.
• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• Current State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs - Assistance with Medications in ALF setting certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Certified four (4) hour Med Pass course. Must be re-certified annually.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English required.
• Basic math skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of medicine count and report to ADRC when it is time to refill medications according to policies & procedures.
• Maintain MOR and ensure that it is correct & up-to-date.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from the dining room as needed.
