About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dependable and consistent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home support to clients, including a male client. The role involves hands-on personal care and working independently in clients’ homes. Cases pay $17 per hour. Available schedules include: an Albemarle client Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; a Locust client Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; a New London client Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and an Albemarle client needing weekday backup coverage.

Requirements

• Hold a current license listed in good standing with the board.
• Be comfortable providing hands-on personal care and working independently in a client's home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide companionship.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Provide oral feeding assistance and medication assistance.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
