About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Partnering with Talantage LLC, we are currently seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Western Correctional Institution (WCI) located in Cumberland, Maryland. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
- CNA licensure in Maryland required
- Must have a certified BLS certificate
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
- One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
Responsibilities
