About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant functions as an assistant to the Registered Nurse. Under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, the CNA/Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing services to ensure patients’ safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection.
Requirements
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card is required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage, prioritize, and complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Satisfactory completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course.
- Relevant experience assisting with activities of daily living, including basic nursing personal care such as patient hygiene and grooming while assisting nursing staff.
- Current California CNA certificate.
