About The Position

Avante at Mt. Dora is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and help maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. The position is available full-time or part-time on the 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift, with a shift differential offered. The role is based at a skilled nursing facility in Mount Dora, Florida.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet applicable federal and state certification requirements, be in training to satisfactorily complete those requirements, or complete the required training in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Completion of high school or GED equivalent, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English.
Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course.
Positive attitude toward elderly people.
Must be eligible for clearance through the abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement.
Must complete background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
