About The Position

Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide patient care in an environment focused on high-quality healthcare and customer service. The role is full-time and involves 8-hour shifts. CNAs support patients in maintaining or restoring their ability to perform activities of daily living, contribute as members of the interdisciplinary team, and help protect patients’ rights and confidentiality. The position requires physical capability to perform job-related duties, including lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, and appropriate use of patient-transfer equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide certification in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification (required).
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related physical duties.
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in maintaining their current level of function or restoring function in activities of daily living.
• Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow the Code of Conduct and corporate compliance requirements.
• Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and protect patients’ rights.
• Use appropriate equipment, such as lifts and gait belts, and follow policy when transferring patients.
• Change patient bedding as necessary and make unoccupied beds.
• Serve and assist with tray setup, pick up trays, and pass drinking water and ice.
• Answer call bells promptly and report issues to the charge nurse.
