About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personalized, home-based care to seniors and people with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases. The role offers flexibility to choose when to work and make your own schedule, along with independent work and 1:1 CNA-to-patient ratios. CNAs work with home health nurses and aides to help ensure each patient’s care plan is followed. Duties include assisting patients with daily activities, mobility, and exercises; checking and documenting health measures; observing patients and reporting concerns to a supervisor. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Nursing Assistant Certification in the applicable state.
CPR certification.
COVID-19 vaccination card.
Valid state driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Care for seniors and people with an illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes.
Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail and skin care, eating, and nutritional intake.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
Check vital signs, measure intake and output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes.
Work with home health nurses and aides to ensure the patient’s care plan is followed.
Observe patients and notify a supervisor of issues that may require a change in care, medication, or medical equipment.
